PRIVATE INVESTMENT & OPERATING COMPANYMELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA

Investing in businesses.
Supporting them to grow.

Arnac is a private investment and operating company based in Melbourne, Australia.

We own and invest in established operating businesses (Rev. A$150m+ ), provide shared capabilities to support their growth, organically and through acquisition and invest in emerging companies.

In addition, we invest in high growth, qualifying companies through an ESVCLP fund - Co:Act, which was founded to assist Australian start-up founders with the capital, network and experience of a group of investors who are familiar with operating their own business.

Our approach is informed by direct experience. We understand businesses as owners and operators, not simply as investors.

EXPLORE ARNAC ESTABLISHED IN EXPERIENCE. FOCUSED ON WHAT'S NEXT.

Two ways of building
lasting value.

Arnac operates across two complementary areas.

01 / OWN & OPERATE

Operating
Businesses

Acquire, own, and support

We invest in established businesses with strong market positions, enduring customer propositions, and opportunities for long-term growth.

We take an active ownership approach, working alongside management while providing access to shared capabilities across finance, technology, people, property, and administration.

THE OUTCOME

This allows our operating businesses to retain their individual identities and entrepreneurial cultures while benefiting from the resources and experience of a broader group.

02 / INVEST

Investments

Independent & venture capital through Co:Act

Arnac also invests in businesses outside its directly operated portfolio, made independently and through Co:Act, the Australian venture capital firm founded with other likeminded investors.

OUR PERSPECTIVE

Direct ownership and operational experience provide a grounded viewpoint when backing founders and management teams—understanding the real challenges of organisation-building, capital allocation, and sustainable growth.

Capital with
operating capability.

Arnac's approach has developed through decades of owning, investing in, and operating Australian businesses. For businesses within the group, Arnac provides a shared support structure across four key domains:

Finance & Treasury

Financial management, treasury, reporting, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, taxation, compliance, and risk management.

Technology

IT infrastructure, systems, communications, network management, and technology administration.

People & Organisation

Recruitment, human resources, organisational development, training, policies, and employee relations.

Property & Commercial

Property and lease administration, contract management, legal coordination, maintenance, and commercial support.

This shared infrastructure allows management teams to concentrate on customers, people, and growth while providing the capabilities required to operate effectively at greater scale — allowing Arnac to act as an experienced trade and operating partner, not simply a financial investor.

Businesses with
something to build on.

Arnac's experience spans specialty retail, consumer businesses, tourism, and venture capital.
